Your Coaching Experience

We're not here to tell you what to do. We'll work together collaboratively to help you uncover what you really want and what's getting in the way. The goal isn't to become a different person, it’s to become more intentional about the person you already are.

  • NWW Coaching Framework

    • The overall journey works best in 6 weekly sessions:

      • Starting with where you are now

      • Identifying needs, values, and priorities

      • Naming patterns, habits, and barriers to change

      • Direction and action

      • New choices and working through obstacles

      • Reflection on what's changed and a plan beyond coaching

  • What happens during coaching

    • Conversations for clarity

    • Reflection to gain a better understanding of yourself

    • Guided exercises to clearly identify values and intentional goals

    • Creation of concrete and practical next steps

    • Tools for accountability between sessions

  • Actions of people who thrive in coaching

    • Show up authentically - this is your space to experiment with changes

    • Reflect and speak honestly and openly about what you want

    • Try out the suggested tools and exercises between sessions

    • Schedule weekly sessions - it takes repetition to break or create a habit, nothing changes if nothing changes!

What Coaching Isn't

  • What coaching is NOT

    • Not therapy

    • Not crisis support

    • Not diagnosis or treatment

    • Not someone telling you how to live your life

    • Not about “fixing” you

    • Not medical, legal, or financial advice

    • Not a guaranteed specific outcome

  • Coaching vs. therapy

    • Our coach utilizes their personal background, experience, and education to focus on your future goals, growth, clarity, and meaningful action. Coaching may involve reflection, goal setting, exploring patterns and perspectives, and identifying steps toward the changes you want to make.

    • Therapy addresses mental health disorders or emotional and psychological difficulties that impact your functioning. Therapy helps address things such as trauma, the processing of experiences and healing from them, and many other areas. Our contact form is for both therapy or professional coaching. If you are interested in therapy, you can also inquire about that service through the contact form.
